Jeff comes from a very musical family with his musical roots buried deep in the soil of the Phipps family tree.  His great grandad and grandad both sang and taught music in the churches of southern Kentucky. Jeff's father played in church and the honky tonks most of his life and he kick started Jeff when he was just five years old on an old Gibson LG-O family heirloom which he still has to this day! He formed his first band when he was twelve.  Jeff wrote his first song at fifteen and has been performing and writing ever since! Jeff says; "I'm a husband/musician/songwriter/bar owner/maintenance man/janitor/accountant...Other than that who has free time?"

Influences: Merle, George ,Hank ,Willie, Waylon, Johnny and about anyone who has graced the Opry stage along with all the fantastic writers and studio players in Nashville. Also Delbert McClinton, Stevie Ray Vauhgn ,Bob Seger, Ted Nugent, ZZ Top, REO Speedwagon and all things in between.
